Required Qualifications & Skills
- Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Professional, positive, and passionate with a strong work ethic
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Minimum 1 year of experience is an asset but not required — new graduates are welcome to apply!

Village Wellness Clinic is currently seeking a passionate and personable Receptionist & Health Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone interested in exploring a career in healthcare and looking to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
Availability:
Candidates must be available to work as early as 6:45am, as late as 9:00pm, and some weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and make them feel welcome
- Explain clinic procedures, treatment plans, or intake forms to new patients
- Open and close the clinic and preparing the front desk for next clinic day
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks, including reception duties, scheduling, payment processing, and patient tracking
- Handle inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and voicemails
- Manage appointment waitlists and cancellations
- Scan, file, and organize digital and physical documents
- Prepare, clean, and organize therapy rooms for treatments
- Stock and monitor inventory in exam rooms and other clinic areas
- Maintain a clean and quiet clinic environment, including sanitizing treatment rooms, reception area, hallways, kitchen, and washrooms
- Accurately document patient information in files
- Assist the Chiropractor with treatments involving ultrasound, IFC, laser therapy, etc.
- Help with internal marketing efforts such as social media campaigns, email newsletters, or patient appreciation events
- Assist in planning and executing in-clinic events or workshops
- Perform other duties as required
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience as a chiropractic patient or in a chiropractic office is an asset
- Current student or graduate in Health Science, Kinesiology, General Science, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in additional languages is an asset
- Reliable, committed, and flexible with scheduling (including mornings, evenings, and weekends)
- Positive attitude and outgoing personality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Familiarity with Atlas and Schedulicity software is a plus
- Strong multitasking ability and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and a team player
